EASTER CUT OUT COOKIES

My kids love these cookies. It was always good to have the dough in freezer, so when was "nothing to do" after school, they were happy to cut out different shapes for fun.

      1 cup butter

      1 egg

      1/2 cup sugar

      2 teaspoons vanilla extract

     3 cups unbleached flour

    1/2 teaspoon

Cream butter with sugar, add egg. Add remaining ingredients. Chill for couple hours.

Than roll and cut out. Bake in 400 F pre- heated oven for 8-10 minutes.
