HO HO Cake

2 boxes of Ho Ho cookies
11/2 cup Cool Whip
1 cream cheese ( 8oz.)
3 cups milk
2 pkg instant chocolate pudding
Chopped nuts and sprinkles
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Cut cookies in half lengthwise and lay them in a 9 x 13 inch pan, cut side up.Beat cream cheese while  slowly adding milk and pudding.Add powdered sugar and spread mixture on top of Ho Ho cookies.Top with Cool Whip nuts and sprinkles.Put  to refrigerator  for 2 hours.

Soft Chocolate Crackles

2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter or  margarine
11/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup powdered sugar
Beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar with electric mixer until fluffy.Add vanilla extract and eggs ,one at the time.In separate bowl, mix flour, salt , baking soda, and cocoa.Add flour mixture and mix until well blended.Place powdered sugar in small bowl .Shape teaspoonful of dough into balls and roll them in powdered sugar. Place the cookies on a greased cookie sheets.Bake  in preheat oven to 350 F for 13 minutes.Makes about 25 cookies.

Very Puffy Biscuits

2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick butter
2/3 cup milk

Sift flour, baking powder,sugar ,cream of tartar,and salt.Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.Add milk all at once and stir just until dough follows fork around bowl or you can  mix in food processor.Pat or roll 1/2 inch thick.Cut it with biscuits cutter. Bake at 450 F 10 -12 minutes.

Pumpkin Bread

4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil (or apple sauce)
1 can ( 2 cups) pumpkin
3 cups flour
2 tsp.baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. each cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg

Blend all  ingredients together ,except sugar ,oil,and eggs.Then add sugar, oil ,and eggs till blended.Bake in 10 inch tube pan or 2 loaf  pans greased  1 hour at 350 F.
